Green Initiatives

MBM is dedicated to helping the earth in any way we can. Because of this, we follow many sustainable practices to ensure our office is as green as possible. Our earth is a cherished resource and its health relies on us. We are committed to doing our part to ensure the earth is healthy for many years to come.

Our sustainable practices include:

• Properly recycle all electronics and bulbs for reclamation. More than 100,000 pounds of metal is recycled annually.
• Monitor electricity and natural gas usage to determine new ways to conserve
• Installed high-efficiency lighting to maximize conservation of electricity
• Send in used drums for refurbishing and re-use
• Recycle all aluminum, paper, and cardboard. YTD more than 32,000 pounds, more than twice the amount in 2009.
• Supply filtered water for all employees to minimize the use of bottled water
• Recycle pallets

These practices have significantly reduced the amount of waste we produce and lessened the volume that is added to landfills each year. Furthermore, MBM strives to be as energy efficient as possible. Therefore, we have saved over 300,000 kW hours of electricity per year. Each year our goals are to become more earth conscious than the previous year.
